What I do.

I take care of the numbers so you can focus on what you do best. That means organizing your income into meaningful categories and breaking down expenses in a way that makes sense. My goal is to give you a system that feels simple and supportive, even if numbers aren’t your thing.

Each month, you get clear and accurate reports that show how your business is really doing. You’ll also have ongoing support, so when questions come up, you're not on your own. And when it’s time to file your taxes, your books will be complete and ready for your CPA.

I’m Alyssa. I’m a bookkeeper who loves clean books, happy clients, and anything to do with horses (especially show jumpers).

I started this business while I was working at an accounting firm in Los Angeles, where I handled bookkeeping for all kinds of clients. Before that, I spent years in the fashion industry.

I understand what it’s like to build something you’re passionate about, and I bring that same level of attention and judgment-free support to each client I work with.

  • When your books are up to date, you’ll have a clear view of where your money is going, what’s working, and what might need attention. That insight makes business decisions easier - plus, you’ll never have to figure out your numbers again.

  • I work with small businesses (sole proprietorships, single-member LLCs, and S-corporations). I understand the needs of equestrians but work with all kinds of service-based businesses.

  • Along with monthly bookkeeping, I can help with refining your office systems, invoicing, and payroll. If there’s anything else you need, just mention it on my form.

  • No, and here’s why. While I have some background and experience in tax, I am not a tax professional. My focus is on keeping your books in order, which makes tax planning and filing much more efficient. I’ll also work closely with your CPA to make sure everything is submitted correctly and on time.

  • My preferred software is Xero, and I also work in Quickbooks Online.

  • My base fee for monthly bookkeeping starts at $375 and varies based on your needs. If your books need to be caught up, there is a one-time setup fee. You’ll be billed on a monthly autopay subscription.

  • At the start of each month, I’ll send over a list of questions about your recent transactions. Once I have your answers, I’ll email a recap and reports showing your income and expenses. Reports are delivered by the 15th of the following month.

  • I request online access to banks, credit cards, and your invoicing system. I’ll help you set up read-only account logins during an onboarding call.

  • No problem. We’ll go over your options together and get you set up with a system that’s right for you and your business. If you don’t currently have books, that’s okay too!
