I’m Alyssa. I’m a bookkeeper who loves clean books, happy clients, and anything to do with horses (especially show jumpers).

I started this business while I was working at an accounting firm in Los Angeles, where I handled bookkeeping for all kinds of clients. My background also includes years in fashion, so I get what it’s like to work in passion-driven spaces. I bring that same care and zero-judgment support to every client I work with.

FAQ

  • When your books are updated every month, you’ll have a clear view of where your money is going, what’s working, and what might need some attention. You’ll have the insight to make better business decisions, which usually means higher profits!

  • I work with small businesses (sole proprietorships, single-member LLCs, and S-corporations). I understand the needs of equestrians but also work with all kinds of service-based businesses.

  • In addition to my standard service of monthly bookkeeping, I can also help with streamlining your office systems, invoicing, and payroll. If there’s anything else you need, just mention it on my form and we’ll chat.

  • No, and here’s why - While I have some background and experience in tax, I am not a tax professional. My focus is on keeping your books in order, which makes tax planning and filing much more efficient. I’ll also work closely with your CPA to make sure everything is submitted correctly and on time.

  • My preferred software is Xero, and I also work in Quickbooks Online.

  • My base fee for monthly bookkeeping starts at $350 and varies based on your needs. If your books need to be caught up, there is a one-time setup fee. You’ll be billed on a monthly autopay subscription.

  • At the start of each month, I’ll send over any questions or clarifications I need from you. Once these questions are answered, I’ll email you a report that shows your income and expenses in a way that’s easy to understand. Reports are delivered by the 15th of the following month.

  • I request online access to banks, credit cards, and your invoicing system. I’ll help you set up read-only account logins during an onboarding call.

  • No problem. We’ll go over your options together and get you set up with a system that’s right for you and your business. If you don’t currently have books, that’s okay too!
